Harmony residents reside within an HOA and a Metro District. The HOA owns and is responsible for The Commons (pool, community center, welcome center, dog park, fire pit), covenants enforcement, has its own Board of Directors, and is funded by quarterly assessments paid by Homeowners and Builders. The Harmony Master Board of Directors has hired CCMC to manage the daily operations, accounting, and billing for the HOA.
The Metro District (Powhaton Community Authority) manages all of the parks, walking trails, and private drives throughout the Harmony community and has a separate Board of Directors from the HOA. The Metro District is funded through property taxes and a quarterly operations fee. The Powhaton Community Authority Board of Directors has hired CCMC to provide partial management services for the Metro Districts. The Metro District is managed and supported by several different agencies.
