No Fireworks!
The City of Aurora is currently under a Stage 1 Fire Restriction. The Stage 1 Burn Restriction bans the use of recreational fireworks. The ban does not include other permissible fires. Read more about the Burn Restriction here.
Please call the Aurora Police Department’s non-emergency line (303- 627-3100) to report the use of fireworks. In case of emergency, always dial 911.
Fire Pits in Harmony
Per the Harmony Design Guidelines, all outdoor fires must be natural gas/propane or charcoal. Outdoor wood burning is prohibited except at approved events at the Community Center. ALL fire pits must be applied for and approved by the HOA prior to installation and use.
Dogs Must Be Leashed
Per City of Aurora law, leashes are required for dogs whenever off their owner’s property. The leash may be a maximum of ten-feet (10-ft.) in length and must be held by someone physically capable of controlling the dog. Dogs loose in the front yard are considered at large, even if the owner is present, unless the front yard is securely fenced. Read more on the City of Aurora’s website.
Please call the Aurora Animal Control non-emergency line (303-739-7000) to report owners who do not leash their dogs. In case of emergency, always dial 911.
Before Making Exterior Changes to Your Home
As a friendly reminder, ALL exterior changes made to your home require prior approval from the Harmony Master Homeowners Association. Download the Design Guidelines for reference and the Design Review Application and submit to the Community Manager to apply. No work may be done on your project until you receive written approval.
When In Doubt, Ask!
We understand that the governing documents that come along with living in an HOA are a lot to process. If you are questioning whether or not something is permitted, or cannot find anything in the documents, email your Association team. We’ll be happy to assist you in finding the answer.
